At Martin's
As I write this, I am surrounded by laughter. JRex and I are sitting at our friendly neighborhood Martin's Supermarket plugging away at some support raising details, admittedly getting off to a slow start, and there are like a million people here over the age of 60 playing cards and being downright raucous. It's awesome. Martin's closes soon and these folks (ourselves included) are living life on the edge... the edge of the store's open and closed hours. We don't know where that line is, to be honest. We are so edgy.
Brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Martin's Supermarket.
Crosswinds recently sent out our first newsletter!!! We are super encouraged by the fact that we have been met with such strong support from all of you in every way as we have begun this whole process. If you did not receive a newsletter and you're just dying to read it, it's your lucky day! You can click right here to find a digital copy.
Current support-raising details in the works:
1. following up with those who have expressed interest in supporting us financially
2. setting up "incentives" of sorts for those who commit to support us financially (be on the lookout for some cute products in the near future)
3. nailing down our exact financial need so that we can share it with everyone
Current personal details in the works:
1. baking a lot of cookies for all of our [not-so] new [anymore] neighbors
2. potentially getting a hair cut (for which one of us, you may ask? Well that, my friend, is a surprise)
3. making it out of this Martin's before they kick us out!
Looking forward to keeping in touch! Remember it's a relay - we all run this race together!
